Memorial Day Weekend Begins at Boundary Bay Brewery with the Official Ski to Sea Block Party & More

Kick off Memorial Day and Ski to Sea weekend at the Official Ski to Sea Block Party at Boundary Bay Brewery! Friday, May 24th starting at 4PM in the beer garden, Boundary Bay will be serving up its famous FryDay Fish Fry menu alongside Cicchitt’s Pizza, live music from the Legendary Chucklenuts, and games provided by WECU.

The Block Party is also a special fundraising event for Hunger vs Hunger; supporting the Bellingham Food Bank. This is the 4th year that Ethan Hunger will raise money for the food bank by bringing attention to food insecurity by pushing his body to the limits in a one day extreme calorie burn. With three local companies matching donations, Hunger’s goal is to raise $100,000 for the Bellingham Food Bank, surpassing the $65,000 raised last year. Boundary Bay is donating $1 per pint sold during the event to Hunger vs Hunger. There will be a silent auction and The Legendary Chucklenuts are donating their musican’s pay to the cause.

Boundary Bay Brewery is proud to be a continued sponsor of the Ski to Sea Race in its 51st year and will be pouring the official Ski to Sea beer, Race Day IPA in the beer garden. Representatives from Ski to Sea will be on hand selling race merchandise and answering race day questions.

The weekend fun continues Saturday with GrooveBot live in the Beer Garden. Doors open at 4PM. Tickets are $7 presale and $10 at the door. Go to bbaybrerwery.com/events

Race day, Sunday, Boundary Bay beer will be pouring at the Finish Line beer garden in Marine Park, where all beer proceeds benefit Whatcom Events, the organization that runs Ski to Sea.
